My name is Esteffi. I’m half Spanish and half Danish, and I speak English, Spanish and Danish fluently.

After many years working in the wedding industry as a wedding planner, I had the chance to be part of hundreds of ceremonies, and I slowly fell in love with that exact moment of the day.

The ceremony is not just another part of the wedding. It is the heart of it. It sets the tone, the emotion, and the energy for everything that follows.

After officiating ceremonies myself and receiving such meaningful feedback from couples and guests, I realised something very clear: this is what I truly love doing.

That’s when I decided to fully focus on creating ceremonies that feel personal, engaging, and deeply unforgettable – ceremonies that genuinely reflect who you are as a couple.

Your Ceremony

DURATION:

Most ceremonies last between 30 and 60 minutes, including the entrances and recessional. The final length depends on the number of languages, any rituals included, and your personal preferences.

From our experience, 30–45 minutes is the perfect balance to create an emotional and meaningful experience while keeping guests fully engaged throughout.

I will arrive before the ceremony to prepare, complete a sound check, welcome guests and help everything run smoothly.

 

LANGUAGES: 

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Danish, and ceremonies can be delivered in one language or a combination of several.

For additional language combinations, I also work with a talented celebrant colleague who is fluent in Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish and English, ensuring all your guests feel included and connected.

 

YOUR CEREMONY SCRIPT:

Every ceremony is completely personalised around your story, personalities and wishes. While I follow a structure that has proven to create the perfect flow and emotional journey, no two ceremonies are ever the same. A typical ceremony may include:

  • Welcome & introduction
  • Your love story
  • Symbolic ritual(s), if desired
  • Readings or speeches from family and friends
  • The “I Do’s”, vows and ring exchange
  • Signing of the symbolic marriage certificate
  • Closing words and celebration

 

SYMBOLIC MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE:

A beautifully presented symbolic marriage certificate is included for you to sign during the ceremony and keep as a special memory of your wedding in Spain. A digital copy is also provided for safekeeping.

 

CELEBRANT ATTIRE:

You are welcome to choose the outfit colour that best complements your wedding style and décor, from elegant black and neutral tones to earthy colours or other options upon request.

 

GUEST GUIDANCE & PRACTICALITIES:

I’m happy to assist with any practical announcements before or after the ceremony, such as unplugged ceremony reminders, confetti instructions, group photos or any other details you’d like guests to know.

The Process

1. Discovery call

A relaxed 30-minute video call where we get to know each other, discuss your vision for the ceremony, and answer any questions you may have. It’s a chance to make sure we’re the perfect fit before moving forward together.

2. secure your date

To confirm your booking, a simple contract and a €100 + 21% VAT deposit are required. Once completed, your date is officially reserved.

Please note your date is only held once both contract and deposit are received, and may be booked by another couple until then.

3. questionnaire

One month before your wedding, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire designed to gather all the key information about your story, preferences and ceremony wishes.

This allows me to fully personalise your script and create a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful and completely unique to you.

4. Ceremony Script

Your ceremony script will be fully prepared before the wedding. You can choose to review and approve it yourself, or, like many couples, keep it as a surprise for the day.

If you prefer, a trusted family member can also review it on your behalf. Otherwise, no one needs to see it in advance.

5. final call

1–2 weeks before the wedding, we can schedule a final call to go through all ceremony details, answer any questions and make sure everything feels clear and aligned.

The goal is to ensure you feel calm, confident and fully relaxed heading into your ceremony.

6. wedding day

I arrive approx. 40 minutes before guests to prepare, complete a sound check, and ensure everything is ready for your ceremony.

I will also welcome your guests and help guide them to their seats so everything runs smoothly from the very beginning. My service concludes once your ceremony has finished.

I am fluent in Spanish, English and Danish, and your ceremony can be delivered in one of these languages or a combination of several.

We also work with a talented colleague who offers ceremonies in Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, English and Spanish (and French when combined with another language), giving you even more flexibility to create a multilingual ceremony that includes all your guests.

 

 

I do not provide sound equipment. In most cases, couples either have a DJ booked for the day who takes care of the microphone and sound setup, or the venue includes a sound system as part of the ceremony arrangement.

If you need any recommendations or guidance regarding sound equipment, I’m always happy to help.

 

 

I am based in Mijas (Málaga) and primarily officiate ceremonies across the Costa del Sol. I also travel throughout Southern Spain, other regions, and internationally for weddings.

Travel fees vary depending on the location. Please get in touch and I will confirm the exact cost for your wedding.

 

 

Yes, I have a selection of trusted contacts for singers, guitarists, violinists and other musicians who can beautifully enhance your wedding ceremony.

If you are working with a wedding planner, I always recommend checking with your planner first, as they will have excellent recommendations and can guide you based on your overall wedding vision and needs.

 

 

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to illness or a major unforeseen circumstance, I have a trusted network of celebrants who speak the same languages as I do and can step in.

In this case, your ceremony will still take place exactly as planned, using your personalised script and delivered with care and professionalism in your chosen language(s).
